Rete Iuvenum Baroccum is a private, non-commercial community. This policy explains what happens to your data on this website, in our application form, in our WhatsApp group and on our Instagram account.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. It loads nothing from other servers: the fonts are part of the page itself.

When you open the page, our hosting provider, IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, automatically records technical data in server log files: your IP address in anonymised form, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after eight weeks at the latest. We have a data processing agreement with IONOS (Art. 28 GDPR).

Links to Tally and Instagram

This website links to our application form on Tally and to our Instagram account. No data is sent to these services until you click one of the links.

Application form

Applications are collected with a form provided by Tally BV, Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat 11, 9000 Gent, Belgium. Tally stores submissions in the European Union and processes them on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We receive notifications of new submissions by email.

We ask for your name, age and contact details, where you are from, whether you are a student or apprentice (many tickets are discounted for them), your Instagram handle if you provide it, what draws you to early music and what you have recently heard or seen, and whether you agree to appear in photos on Instagram. We use this data only to decide on your application, to contact you and to invite you to our group. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

If we cannot accept your application, we delete your data after three months. If you join, we keep your data for as long as you are a member and delete it within one month after you leave.

WhatsApp group

Members are invited to our WhatsApp community. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, which processes your data under its own responsibility; see the WhatsApp privacy policy. In the group chats, other members may see your name and phone number. Group administrators can always see all numbers.

Photos on Instagram

At our meetups we usually take a group photo and may post it on our Instagram account. Instagram is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited; see the Instagram privacy policy. We only post photos of people who have agreed, and we ask again before every photo (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 22 KUG). If you withdraw your consent, we remove you from our posts or delete them.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to it, and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. An email to us is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work. In Bavaria, this is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

Age

Our community is for people aged 18 to 35. We do not knowingly process data of minors.
